We are seeking up to three exceptional, dynamic individuals to join our new Project Officer team, working in local communities to inspire and support people to lead active lifestyles

What you’ll be doing…

The Project Officer role is a newly created position working in and with local communities to plan, organise and deliver various projects and initiatives aimed at Active Devon’s ambition of helping 125,000 people to get active or stay active.

The day to day duties are highly varied but will revolve around the following key objectives:

• Delivering a portfolio of different active lifestyles initiatives, including ensuring that Active Devon’s work impacts positively on key underrepresented groups
• Maintaining and developing relationships with the key local people and partner organisations necessary for successful project delivery
• Acting as Active Devon’s key point of contact in designated locality area(s)
• Gathering and sharing performance data, customer insight and local intelligence
• Utilising digital, campaigning and social marketing methods to achieve behaviour change outcomes
