Young Carers Project Worker (Job Ref 17-28)

Salary - £18,049 pro rata

 Some flexibility in hours but generally Monday, Tuesday & Friday (18.5 hours per week) based in Okehampton

Fixed-Term Contract for 1 year with possibility of a further year up to 2019

The role is to provide practical & emotional support for young carers (5 to 17yrs old) by planning, organising and delivering group sessions, respite activities & one to one support.

The ideal candidate will be experienced in working with young carers or young people and delivering activities, groups & one to one support.
You should possess excellent communication & inter-personal skills, be organised, creative, flexible, able to work as part of a team and at times alone.
You should be passionate about helping young carers and wanting to make a difference.
