2 x Multi Crime Services Project Caseworker - Victim Support

Victim Support (VS) Multi-Crime Service in Devon and Cornwall has an exciting new opportunity for two full-time (37.5hr) Case workers internally known as Multi Crime Services Project Caseworker working Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm with the flexibility to sometimes work outside these hours to meet client need. The post will be home-based and open to applicants who live within Devon and Cornwall.

The main duties of this role include responsibility for provision of tailored one-to-one support to those affected by crime including by the shootings in Plymouth in August 2021. This will include providing direct support to clients.  The successful applicant will also need to establish links with relevant local organisations to increase awareness of the impact of crime and form smooth referral pathways. 

Given the duties outlined above, we are looking for an exceptional and motivated person who will have strong personal and emotional resilience through personal or professional experience.  You will also be skilled in prioritizing a workload and in building positive working relationships.

As this is a home-based role you will need to have access to an appropriately confidential space in which to work.
