Description :

Balloons provides pre- and post-bereavement support to children and young people aged between 5 to 25 who live in Exeter, Mid & East Devon. We also support their families through our telephone helpline and our family events programme, and we deliver childhood grief training to local agencies.

We are currently seeking two new members of staff to join our small, busy and friendly team at our Marsh Barton office in Exeter.

The two roles are:

  1. Office Manager (21 hours per week). Starting salary £22,000. The postholder will be responsible for the administrative function of Balloons and for helping in the day to day running of the charity
  1. Volunteer Co-ordinator & Activity Day Programme Manager (28 hours per week). Starting salary £29,300. The postholder will be responsible for managing volunteers who provide grief support, running the Balloons activity days and family events, answering the telephone support line and for helping in the day to day running of the charity
