Young Devon is one of a group of voluntary organisations providing the Community Connector role for Wellbeing Exeter. Community Connectors meet with the young person and talk with them about their life, interests and the barriers they face.  It is the Community Connector’s role to understand what matters to a person and then to work alongside them to build on their interests and to help them find out what’s out there that can help them and that might enrich their life.  For example, it might be about introducing people to social or exercise groups or activities or about helping people to access information, services and advice.

The role requires someone passionate about working with young people and experienced at building excellent relationships, which supports young people to better understand the issues they are experiencing.

This is an exciting new opportunity for Young Devon and we are looking for creative and flexible people to help us develop and establish this new support option for young people.

Young Devon is a youth work charity (1057949) who is actively committed to embracing diversity. Wheelchair access available
