As part of a wider Young Devon team you will coordinate our delivery of counselling in a cluster of schools, delivering face to face counselling and small group work; working alongside other coordinators and supported by the team leader.
This is part of the wider Emotional Health and Wellbeing schools based service in Plymouth where we offer a blended approach in a partnership with Kooth (on line support), Livewell, (CAMHS) and The Zone (whole school approach).
This role focuses on our face to face counselling service in secondary schools ensuring Young People receive a safe, person centred, effective and accessible service.
We are passionate about making a difference and working alongside young people, offering a holistic approach to help them build resilience and support emotional health and wellbeing. The support is ‘goal focused’ and evidence based incorporating outcome measures.
If you are a qualified, experienced counsellor with the skills to support a small team of volunteers and trainee counsellors, have a flexible approach and you are a solution-focused thinker then we would like to hear from you.
Young Devon is a Youth Work charity (1057949) committed to embracing diversity.
