20 hours per week.
Main tasks include supporting young people aged 13-24 with mental health issues and ensure that the service adapts and supports their emotional and mental wellbeing.
Act as first point of contact for young people; assess need; provide one-to-one support to young people, and record, monitor and evaluate progress. Work with the young person to set goals, signpost and encourage them to join other groups and support networks where appropriate. Current caseload will be based in Sidmouth but flexibility is needed to:-
- Support and guide a team of volunteers who assist in the running of group sessions.
- Plan, organise and deliver a range of group activities which support the mental and emotional wellbeing of young people as well as lead group Headlight sessions on Thursday evenings in Axminster.
- To network with local groups, organisations, and individuals to promote the service.
