Full-time (37 hours per week) based at our Exeter Youth Enquiry Service

Permanent Contract

Building quality relationships with young people is at the centre of every Young Devon service. As part of our homeless prevention service we aim to significantly reduce the number of potentially homeless young people in Exeter, East Devon and Teignbridge.

Working as part of Exeter Youth Enquiry Service team this role will give comprehensive, realistic housing advice and support to young people, predominantly 16/17-year old’s and young people leaving care. Through building professional relationships with Young people using a Youth Work person-centred approach the role seeks to engage young people in a nationally recognised homelessness prevention pathway.

The post holder will be expected to use a person centred approach in the delivery of homelessness prevention pathway working with young people and families delivering a multi-agency early intervention.

A comprehensive training package aligned with the role is available if required.
