Youth Genesis is a charitable trust setup to work with communities to grow opportunities of learning and development for young people at a grassroots level.

We are looking for someone who has the creative skills, passion and enthusiasm to make a positive difference to the lives of young people living in Heathfield, Newton Abbot.

(Minimum) Level 2 in youth work qualifications is required.

This post is for 3 hours per week on a Friday, 6.30pm - 9.30pm, term time only, working in Heathfield Industrial Estate, supporting the new youth provision opening in September. The role will include detached youth work, being part of the Streetbase team, and the role will involve centre based work too once guidance allows re-opening.

Your experience of working with young people will enable the effective planning and delivery of dynamic and fun sessions that will enhance young people’s learning in the community. Your role will involve engaging young people, inspire positive behaviour and support those facing difficult circumstances.

This role at Youth Genesis will be key in helping to shape and enhance what we offer young people and the community.

Hours are term time only, with annualised pay.
