#YouthWorkinDevonReturns!!

Many workers have asked us to set up training to support them as youth work opens up. The Devon Youth Work Partnership have now agreed a series of four 75-minute weekly Zoom sessions starting on the 12th August at 6.30pm. These sessions are for people who work with, care for or support young people, offering an introduction to the subject of young people’s mental health.

These sessions are not intended to provide clinical information about the numerous mental health issues that can affect young peoples’ lives, but rather seek to increase understanding and awareness around mental illness in its wider context, and thereby help us to be better placed to spot the signs of mental distress, feel more confident in how to respond, and offer practical and positive help and support. Whilst each webinar will stand alone, the sessions will build on from the content provided in the previous session. There will be a short time at the end of each session for Q&A.

TO BOOK YOUR PLACE ON ANY OF THESE SESSIONS - please email mark@voycdevon.org.uk with names/email addresses.  Mark will circulate Zoom joining instructions prior to each meeting.
