Creative Coordinator – Participation (Job Ref 19-33)

Part-time (30 hours per week) based at Newton Abbot Change Academy

Permanent Contract

We think participation is crucial; without the conversations we hold between people about our work and the way they experience it, we risk delivering the services in the wrong way.

The role will enable the right candidate to deliver creative engagement for children, young people and their families and carers, thereby ensuring they have a genuine voice in co-producing services, influencing strategic direction and holding services to account.

This is an opportunity to work for a well-respected local charity with a proud history of working with young people in Devon. The role will involve enabling young people to actively engage in their community and support their voice using creative methods to shape, inform and influence services. The coordinator will oversee the planning, organisation and delivery of projects and programmes.

If you have the skills and experience and can evidence what it takes to positively engage with children, young people and families, then we would love to hear from you.

Young Devon is a youth work charity (1057949) who is actively committed to embracing diversity. Wheelchair access available.

Closing date for applications: 9am on Monday 11th November with interviews on Wednesday 20th November.

If you would like an informal discussion please contact Nathan McCabe on 07525 225557
