Family Support Worker/Volunteer Co-ordinator - Home-Start

Part time, 30 hours Per Week
NJC scale 12 -15: £21,589 - £22,911 pro rata, (as at 1st April 2019 depending on experience)

You will be responsible for providing phone/digital support, guidance and information to families who are experiencing long- or short-term difficulties. You will recruit, train and supervise a team of volunteers. Excellent computer skills will be required and regular use of own car. Parenting experience, an understanding of the needs of families and knowledge of supporting families affected by mental health issues is essential. Experience of working with volunteers would be an advantage.

This post is a two-year contract which could be extended.

This role will initially be based working from home and will be providing online support to families.
