Independent Domestic Violence Advisor (IDAA) - Devon Domestic Abuse Support Service

Devon DDASS Combined IDVA

We are looking for a Combined IDVA for 30 hours a week based at our Exeter office and expected to cover Exeter, East and Mid Devon. You will part of an experienced team providing high quality advice, guidance and support to victims of domestic violence and/or abuse enabling them to live safely.

You will be expected to provide a timely pro-active service to male and female victims of domestic violence and abuse, who have been assessed as being at high and medium risk of domestic abuse; working within a multi-agency setting to ensure risk is reduced.

You should have proven experience and qualifications in support work with knowledge of domestic abuse issues and also have excellent written and verbal communications skills.

Tenure: Fixed Term until 31st March 2021 (this could be extended)

Vetting

You will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.

You will also undergo a police check
