Young Devon - Supported Lodgings Lead Worker (Job Ref 19-06)

Salary - £19,241 per annum, pro rata

Part-time (18 hours per week, spread over 3 days) based at Newton Abbot / Torbay

Fixed-Term Contract until September 2019

You will work as part of the team within the Supported Lodgings project, assisting with the delivery of services that enthuse, motivate and encourage young people’s personal and skills development. You will liaise with other agencies to ensure good working relationships to support young people in placements with host families, and to support the host families in developing their placements. This role will involve working with the staff team to ensure that all engaged in Supported Lodgings have appropriate support to achieve their specific goals.

The successful candidate will be flexible and adaptable to change, have a good knowledge of current legislation that affects care leavers and young people in need, safeguarding, health and safety and risk assessment procedures. You will be enthusiastic, creative, imaginative, positive and a team player, able to adapt to working with a range of individuals and their needs.
