Description :

Part time (10 hours per week) Location flexible dependant on candidate

Permanent position

The Young Victims of Crime Service is commissioned to by the Police and Crime Commissioner to work with young people who have experienced a crime across Devon and Cornwall. We work with the young person to listen to their experience, and identify the impact this has had for them. Commonly this is the emotional impact of the crime. We work with young people from 8 – 25 years in a wide range of locations across Devon.

The work is community based to make the service more accessible for young people, and the timing of hours will also be flexible around the needs of the young people you are working with.

If you are someone who is skilled at building effective relationships with young people and parents, and is able to adapt support to the needs of each individual then this we would like to hear from you.  This is a rewarding service where you can make a real difference.
