Volunteer Preparation Course

Everyone needs a bit of help sometimes…             

If you know about the challenges of parenthood, you may be able to support families in the Exeter or East Devon area who are currently finding life difficult, whether through isolation, multiple birth, illness, bereavement, or a variety of reasons. These families welcome a listening ear, practical help or emotional support – a couple of hours once a week given by a Home-Start volunteer can really support them in overcoming their hurdles and build their confidence and ability to cope.
