Health and Wellbeing Youth Worker

This is an exciting opportunity funded through the Primary Care Network.  It is in response to the mental and physical health needs of young people which are particularly acute at this time.  We are expanding our team following the successful introduction of the scheme in 2020.  Much of the work will involve 1:1 support for young people.

Applicants should have a personal commitment to addressing the needs of young people, have very good listening skills, be non-judgmental and have good communication and organisational skills.

They should also have experience of working with young people in a supportive role.

A youth work and/or counselling qualification is desirable.

This appointment is subject to Enhanced DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service) checks.

Hours per week – 20+

To start as soon as possible.
