Young Devon is a Youth Work Charity and our mission is to make Devon a better place for all young people.

For over two decades we have been supporting young people through a number of services, including accommodation - seeking housing resolutions with and for them, working with our local authority and district council.

Working as part of our team, this role will engage and work alongside young people aged 16-25 years who are care experienced and support them to maintain or access accommodation.  Building a relationship of trust and understanding whilst responding to need through a trauma informed lens. Supporting them to make decisions, have their voice heard and obtain the services they need.

Knowledge on housing protocols, legislation and housing options would be an advantage. However, training will be available for this specialised post which is based in Exeter.

We particularly welcome applications from people with care experience and/or experience of vulnerable housing.
