Mental Health Support Worker in Honiton - Action East Devon

Action East Devon is a leading charity providing services to support health and wellbeing in young people, older people and carers in East Devon.  We have exciting opportunities for part time posts in both our Carers Support team and in Headlight, our youth mental health support project. 

Headlight Youth Mental Health Support Project

Action East Devon has received 5 year funding to 2023 from the Big Lottery ‘Reaching Communities’ fund to expand our Headlight activities (currently based Axminster and Ottery St Mary) into other towns in East Devon, including Honiton, Seaton and Sidmouth.  The Mental Health Support Worker in Honiton (fixed term contract to March 2020 will assist young people and partner agencies to map and develop youth mental health services in Honiton.

Mental Health Support Worker in Honiton £24,050 pro rata for 17 hours per week fixed term contract to 31 March 2020.  To work in partnership with young people and support agencies  e.g. Honiton Health Matters, GPs, Honiton College etc. supporting young people to develop youth mental health services in Honiton.
